Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Morgeot" 2005, Michel Coutoux

Light yellow. Initial nose of oak, perfumed, very floral, open. Stonking yellow and white fruit and alcohol on the palate. Wild power like an untamed lion... this wine roars out of the glass! Has a peach schnapps hit on the back palate. Typical big wine from the Morgeot 1er cru vineyard. Michel Coutoux is the son-in-law of the famous Michel Niellon and this is a negociant wine meaning he doesn't own the vineyards. Tasted at the caveau de Chassagne.
