Savigny-les-Beaune 2004, Vincent Girardin

Tasted blind. Pale yellow colour with no obvious green hints or age. Initially slightly closed then herbaceous, limestone, gunflint. Disappears into its shell again then evolves to floral notes and pear fruit aromas. On the palate clean, simple fresh citrus fruits, a delicate style yet persistent.
