Bâtard-Montrachet 2006, Etienne Sauzet

Thick glossy straw colour with green tints. Complex bouquet of white flowers, nectarines, white strawberry and oak vanillins. Aromas are tightly-bound into the liquid. Sumptuous richness on the palate yet remains elegant and smooth despite this fruit concentration. The future personality, flavous and aromatic complexity need another 18 months to expand in the bottle before the wine can be deciphered. Needless to say the super balance and presence of all desirable elements will make this wine a prize for the cellar.
