Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "La Romanee" 2006, Vincent Dancer

The La Romanée premier cru is situated on the hillside above the village of Chassagne which gives it a different style from the wines closer to the valley floor. The nose is like nettle-infused milk, a little creamy, then lemon and whiteflowers such as hawthorn and acacia. Tanatalising, rounded, lashings of peach fruit and green melon. A truely mouth-filling and delightful wine.
