This simple wine is made for the venerable corner stone of the British wine establishment, Berry Brothers & Rudd, by one of the major Nuits-Saint-Georges firms, Nicolas Potel. And I confide that it is a successful combo. A good full cherry colour announces hawthorn, plum and rhubarb aromas oscillating between fresh and just ripe. Great balance on the palate from the medium pinot skin tannins, bright cherry fruit and filament of acidity. Perfect quaffing wine thank you very much!
