Beaune 1er Cru "Les Grèves" 2008. Domaine Parigot

Among the several wines tasted at Domaine Parigot, this was the only wine that did not seem to me to be successful. A medium red colour with a touch of pink -- it lacks the consistency and depth of the other wines. Initial aromas of assam tea, a wishy-washy red fruit nose without species definition. A light body, the fruit is dry and lacks concentration. Pleasant to drink initially but the dry fruit and significant tannins give it a crunchy texture. Would need to try again to recommend.
