Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Referts" 2009, Bachelet Monnot

Melon, pear, very ripe on the nose. This is reminiscent of a Stellenbosch chardonnay. On the palate really sweet, some underlying minerality, very like. Gets close to a Dupont-Fahn 2003 on a hot July afternoon which makes you want to fall asleep on the sofa. Ideal for people who like big, fruity rich chardonnay.
