Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Referts" 2009, Olivier Leflaive

The Domaine Olivier Leflaive needs little introduction since it is one of the best known high quality négoçiants. This Puligny 1er Cru is fragrant, citrus-focused and well-integrated. Good lime and apple acidity on the palate brings the fruit flavours to life. Perhaps a little light for a Puligny 1er Cru. Still needs another 2 years to fill out and deliver its full potential. Enjoyable, very well-produced but doesn't have an excitement factor.
