Puligny-Montrachet 2009, Bachelet Monnot

This Puligny 2009 starts on lime, mint leaf, a whiff of lemon grass. Moves onto fresh pear. The weight of fruit on the palate is a shock after the more fragrant nose. Fat, slurpy, melony, very round nay soggy. This Puligny tells a lot about the 2009 vintage in chardonnay since the vendanges started on September 7th.
