Bourgogne "La Tufera" 2009, Etienne Sauzet

This Bourgogne chardonnay is a frequent challenger for the best white Burgundy. Charming soft aromas of lemon groves and pine kernels that caress the nostril feathers. Good minerality, balanced structure, citrus flavours and a good round finish. The Bourgogne blanc 2006 from Etienne Sauzet was also very enjoyable. For a regional appellation one could not ask for more. Except perhaps the Patrick Javillier Cuvée Oligocène which is a marvel every year.
