This white Nuits-Saint-Georges is planted on a hard calcaire terroir in a cooler location. The final wine is blended from two lieux dits. A nose of apricots and clementines. Medium weight, rich, generous, with an uplifting mineral finish. Would be great with shellfish especially stronger-flavoured dishes such as crab paté and abalone. Scores 24-26 / 30 for a NSG premier cru. Photo shows part of the NSG vineyard on July 29th 2011.
