Morey St Denis "En La Rue de Vergy" 2011, Perrot-Minot

I have recently had the pleasure to try a number of Perrot-Minot wines, they have a sense of luxe about them. This Morey, which from my perspective is priced at the top end for a Morey village, was tasted from a cask sample at the annual Burgundy tasting of Justerini & Brooks. An initial nose of red currant, oak barrels, fairly narrow, loganberry, bergamot. This Morey 2011 is bright on the palate, dominated by fresh berries, slight frame for a Morey reflecting the lack of fruit power in 2011. Scores 18-22/30 for a Mprey.
