Central Otago Pinot Noir 2014, Peregrine Wines

Hailing from the lovely 2014 vintage it is no surprise that a glorious pinot nose leaps out of the glass. Black currant, strawberry, toast, plum tart, vanilla. Such an appealing and appetising bouquet. In the mouth this Central Otago pinot offers sweet berry fruit, fresh and ripe black currants and cherries. Long, great balance, savoury and a mineral/slate/schist finish. Fine texture. An excellent example of Central Otago pinot.
