Central Otago Pinot Noir 2015, Mount Rosa

This pinot has a medium red ruby colour. A nose of red cherry and ripe raspberry. A more narrow and linear structure than other pinots tasted in the Gibbston Valley. Good finesse and pleasant medium to light berry fruit. A touch of hazelnut on the nose tied to ten per cent new oak barrels. Enjoyable and reasonably priced.
